Cori Bylund began working for this firm as a law clerk in 2003 she handled research, writing and assisting with appellate work. Upon graduation, she accepted an associate position and has been practicing exclusively in Family Law.
Although she enjoys litigation, many cases are peaceful and uncontested. Cori appreciates the stress involved in a divorce and endeavors to make the process as painless as possible for her clients. Ms. Bylund is also an experienced appellate attorney and her cases have resulted in significant case law being made in Florida. She travels to Tallahassee to argue before the 1st District Court of Appeals and enjoys the research involved in appellate work. It is extremely useful in trial practice to be current on the law.
In addition to her legal work Ms. Bylund lectures locally and nationally on Family Law subjects, including ethics, for the National Business Institute and the Institute for Paralegal Education. Ms. Bylund serves on the Board of Directors of the Family Nurturing Center of Florida and enjoys helping parents maintain the relationships they have with their children even in the most difficult situations.
In 2008, Mrs. Bylund became licensed to practice in Wisconsin as well. She is a member of the Wisconsin Bar, the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Florida Family Law Inn of Courts and Phi Alpha Delta. Mrs. Bylund resides in Jacksonville Beach with her son and her dogs. She enjoys the beach, professional sports and traveling to visit family and friends.
